Pvt. Arnold Thurow - Deming, New Mexico
Arnold Thurow was born in 1900. He would have been 17 or 18 years old when the pictures above were taken. He lied about his age to the recruiter when he enlisted. Arnold did basic training with the 109th Engineers at Camp Cody before deploying to France in WW1. Pvt. Arnold Thurow was discharged from the Camp Dodge YMCA Building on July 2, 1919.
